Car Pin Stripe Removal

I finally got around to removing the pin striping from my LeSabre. It was really easy. The pin striping was the decal kind so I just waited for a sunny day when my car was sitting out in the sun, and pealed it off like masking tape. I peeled it slowly just to make sure I didn't peel up any paint either. It came up very easily but most of the adhesive was still stuck to the car. To remove the adhesive, I just used Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. That's it. Since I have such a light car (silver), there were no problems with paint fading. It looks like it never had pin striping. The reason I'm posting this is that I thought pin stripe removal would be difficult and potentially damage my paint. It did not and as long as you pull the pin striping up slowly and on a warm day, you shouldn't have any issues.
